Join us on August 26th at 11am for an afternoon of world class speeches as we watch the final round of the World Championship of Public Speaking!

Each year, the Toastmasters International Convention culminates in the final round of the International Speech Contest, where the World Champion of Public Speaking is chosen. In this exciting event, 10 contestants from all over the world deliver 5- to 7-minute speeches that are evaluated by a panel of experienced Toastmasters. After a year of competing in club, area, district and semifinal competitions, these contestants have advanced for the chance to win this prestigious accolade.

TicTalkers will be hosting a viewing party from 11am – 1pm on August 26th. All of the speakers are going to be amazing, but we’ll be cheering on fellow TicTalker Mark Skipper. Mark won the District 6 International Speech Contest in May, and will be travelling to Vancouver to try and win it all.

Guests are invited to attend our regular meeting from 9 – 10:30am and stay for the viewing party, or simply come to watch the show at 11am. Snacks will be provided.
