Spring Convention 2010 April 23-24

The District 6 Spring Convention took place April 23-24, 2010 at the Ramada Plaza in Minneapolis, MN.

District 6 Spring 2010 Speech Contest

The Spring Speech Contest District Finals were held at the District 6 Spring Convention. Winners from the District’s ten Divisions competed in two different contests- TALL TALES and the INTERNATIONAL SPEECH contest.

Congratulations to all Speech Contest contestants. Winners were as follows:
1st Place – Roger Revak – International Speech
2nd Place – Ken Morgan
3rd Place – Stew Thornley 		1st Place – Daniel Codner – Tall Tales
2nd Place – Dwight Wilcox
3rd Place – Craig Partridge


Additionally, the following awards were presented:
The Lorin Pollmann Award went to Carlsonics Club #6393
The Don Murray Award went to Brian Hinton, DTM
The Lou Novak Award went to David Deutsch, DTM
