WHAT: Area Speech Contests: Evaluation and International Speech Contests featuring the star speakers of the Areas’ 12 clubs!
Timeline:
5:00 PM Site Opens
(All participants must be on site before 6:00 PM – site door locks. If you need to arrive late, please call 651-336-8878.)
5:20 PM Contestants’ and Judges’ Briefings (including Judges, Timers, ballot counters and Sgts@ Arms)
5:45 PM: Event begins: Welcome & Introductions
6:00 – 6:30 PM: Evaluation Contests: Area 74 then Area 75.
6:30 – 6:40 PM Intermission/Break
6:40 – 7:45 PM International Speech Contest: Area 74 then Area 75.
Miscellanea:
Site: Oracle Center, 900 2nd Ave S, Mpls, MN 55402, 9th Floor Multi-Purpose Room
Enter via main floor entrance or skyway access, take elevators to the 9th floor and follow the signs.
All attendees must be in the event area by 6:00 PM as the access is restricted after that time.

Parking is available on-street (metered) or in any of several nearby ramps.
Light Refreshments will be provided.
Contestants should arrive by 5:15 PM to complete Bio and Eligibility sheets.

Clubs should notify their Area Director with the names of their contestants at least one day before the contests to ensure that eligibility can be verified. Each club may be represented by One contestant per contest (One for Evaluation & one for International Speech Contest).
