Conference Registration – CLOSED
To register for the conference via surface mail, please complete the “Register By Mail” form and mail your check as indicated to Nancy Hobbs. Registration deadline, Monday, October 12. If you need to register after that date, please contact the Conference Chairs.

First Timer FAQs
1. Join us at 5:30 on Friday night for our First Timers meeting!
2. Friday night is our Parade of banners and roast. Dress for fun. No suit or tie required!
3. Dress for Saturday is casual. Saturday night is our Plaider Day Night Festival. Wear something plaid! We will be having a plaid contest. See the Schedule of events for details.
4. Remember to bring club banner for Friday evening. You will receive a District Store voucher for participation in the parade of banners.
5. Remind your club members to bring silent auction items, their voting proxies, and their speech books to get speech credit if competing or presenting.
6. Volunteer to help at registration, silent auction, or credentials tables.
District Business Meeting
- Be sure to attend the business meeting on Saturday, October 17th.
Club Proxy Form
- The proxy form is only used for the District 6 business meeting. Each club has two votes. If the President or VP of Education can not attend in person, a proxy name can be assigned on the form below. This person must be an active member of the club and attend the business meeting in order to cast the club’s two votes. This proxy will be turned in to receive the club ballots at the Credential Desk at the Conference. Please note, the club member must be present at the business meeting to cast the 2 votes for the club.

Special Room rates of $99+ tax per bedroom (i.e. 2 bedroom townhouse $198 per night, 1 bedroom lodge with 2 beds $99 per night) includes: Lakeside Cabins, Lakefront Lodge Rooms and Suites, and Golf Course Villas. For those bringing family not participating in the conference, the resort restaurants will be closed. There are some rooms with kitchens. Please plan accordingly. Also note Sugar Lake Lodge is offering a self-pay breakfast buffet on Sunday morning. THIS IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE FULL REGISTRATION.
