District Business Meeting


A key event during our Spring Convention is the Business Meeting. If you have never attended the Business Meeting, make it a point to be there on Saturday April 30th. (Exact time to be determined as we prepare the convention schedule.) This page will be updated on an ongoing basis before the Spring Convention, so check back frequently for the latest news and information.

Club Proxy Form


The proxy form is only used for the District 6 business meeting. Each club has two votes. If the President or VP of Education can not attend in person, a proxy name can be assigned on the form above. This person must be an active member of the club and attend the business meeting in order to cast the club’s two votes. This proxy will be turned in to receive the club ballots at the Credential Desk located by the registration table at the Conference. Please note, the club member must be present at the business meeting to cast the 2 votes for the club.

Call for Nominations: 2011-12 District Officers


Nominations are now open for the offices of Lt. Governor Marketing, Lt. Governor Education & Training, District Governor and all 10 Division Governors for the 2011-2012 Toastmaster Year. Please see links below for Officer Qualifications, District Officer Nominating Form and a Qualifications Checklist (QualCheck).

All candidates for District Office will be contacted to set up an interview with the Nominating Committee. Qualified candidates that do not meet with the nominating committee prior to April 29 may run as a floor candidate at the Annual Business meeting held during the Spring Convention, Saturday April 30, 2010.
