What Comes After the Basics in Pathways?
We will explore what else you can do in
Pathways. What does the base camp
manager do? How do we receive credit
on the DCP? These are a few of the
questions we will explore in the

It is not about you:
In this presentation attendees will have
a chance to learn how to provide
effective feedback to a speaker who has
prepared and presented a speech. We
will also cover a few things that should
be avoided. Mixing in a bit of humor and
some true stories of past evaluations the
presentation builds on many years of
experience and training of fellow
toastmasters who have mentored or shared
previously with the presenter.

It is ALL About You:
Whether you realize it or not, YOU are a
Public Relations wizard. When it comes to
sharing our experiences and opinions,
each of us has the power to persuade,
beguile, or devastate. This session will
explore the idea that every Toastmaster is
in a Public Relations position. How will
YOU make a difference?

Improving Your Presentation Style:
A concrete look into what can hamper your
presentation abilities along with potential
solutions to help avoid these concerns.
Generally, most everyone who joins
Toastmasters is looking for something
to help them improve with their
speaking and/or presentation skills. While
many may have the same goals/desires,
how they learn and internalize potential
solutions can be quite unique to the
individual. Identifying and understanding
external and internal influences and
how they can help or hinder us is just as
important when putting together a
speech or presentation as the information
we wish to convey and the manner in
which it’s delivered. By exploring these
influences and identifying how they
affect our thinking and speaking, we
can develop strategies and approach
our goals with a better understanding
of our own needs. By identifying potential
obstacles and creating tools to prevent or
avoid them, you can be well on your
way to Improving Your Presentation Style!
